Orders
How do I place an order?
Simply browse our collections, select your size and color, and click "Add to Cart". When you're ready, proceed to checkout and complete your order using any of our accepted payment methods. You'll receive a confirmation email as soon as your order is placed.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Orders can be cancelled or modified within 24 hours of being placed. After this window, your order may already be in processing and changes may no longer be possible. Please contact us as quickly as possible at support@emmyandellie.com if you need to make an adjustment.
I made a mistake with my shipping address — what do I do?
Contact us immediately at support@emmyandellie.com with your order number and the correct address. If your order hasn't been dispatched yet, we'll update it for you. Once an order has shipped, we're unable to redirect it.
How will I know my order has been confirmed?
You'll receive an order confirmation email as soon as your purchase is complete. If you don't see it within a few minutes, please check your spam or junk folder.
Shipping & Delivery
How long will it take to receive my order?
Most customers receive their orders within 5–8 business days from the date of purchase. Here's a breakdown of our standard timeline:
- Order cut-off time: 5:00 PM on business days
- Processing time: 1–2 business days (Monday to Saturday)
- Transit time: 4–6 business days after dispatch
Please note that delivery timeframes are estimates and may occasionally be affected by factors outside our control.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer free shipping on all orders within the United States. No minimum order value, no hidden fees — free shipping always.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we ship within the United States only. We hope to expand our shipping destinations in the future — stay tuned!
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes! Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive an email with your tracking details so you can follow your package every step of the way.
What if my order is delayed?
While we always aim for timely delivery, occasional delays can happen due to high order volumes, carrier disruptions, severe weather conditions or public holidays. If your order hasn't arrived within the estimated timeframe, please allow a few extra business days before contacting us.
My package shows as delivered but I haven't received it — what should I do?
If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your package, please first check with neighbors, building reception or any secure locations nearby. If the package still cannot be located, contact us at support@emmyandellie.com and we'll investigate with the carrier right away.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
We accept return requests within 30 days of your order being delivered. Items must be unused, unworn and in their original condition with all packaging and tags intact. To start a return, email us at support@emmyandellie.com with your order number, the item(s) you'd like to return and your reason for returning.
How do I start a return?
Simply email support@emmyandellie.com with the following:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you'd like to return
- Your reason for returning
- Photos if relevant
Once we review your request and approve it, we'll send you full instructions on how to complete your return.
How long does it take to receive my refund?
Once we receive your returned item and complete our inspection, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7 business days. Please allow a little extra time for your bank or payment provider to reflect the amount in your account. You'll receive a confirmation email as soon as your refund has been processed.
Who pays for return shipping?
For returns due to a change of mind, wrong size selection or exchanges, the cost of return shipping is the customer's responsibility. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method, as Emmy & Ellie cannot be held responsible for returns lost in transit.
If the item you received was damaged, defective or incorrect, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
Can I exchange an item?
Yes! Contact our support team at support@emmyandellie.com and we'll walk you through the exchange process. Please note that exchange shipping costs may apply unless the item was defective or incorrect.
What if my item arrived damaged or incorrect?
We're sorry to hear that! Please contact us as soon as possible at support@emmyandellie.com and include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos of the item and its packaging
Our team will review everything promptly and arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra cost to you.
Sizing
How do I find my size?
Each product page includes a Size Guide link. We always recommend checking the size guide before ordering as sizing can vary slightly between styles. If you're between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit.
Do your clothes run true to size?
Most of our styles run true to size. Where there are exceptions, this is noted in the product description. Our customer reviews also frequently include helpful sizing notes from real buyers.
What if the item doesn't fit?
No problem — simply initiate a return within 30 days of delivery and we'll process a refund or exchange. See our returns section above for full details.

Are your product photos accurate?
We work hard to ensure our product images are as accurate as possible. However, colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings and device display. If you have any questions about a specific product, feel free to contact us before ordering.
